Tudor Choristers’ beautiful musical storytelling

Not our words, but we are delighted to share them.

This is the headline of Daniel Brace's review of our latest concert repertoire in ClassikON.

Daniel critiques the 3 main elements and then, of Carlos our music director, has to say,

Carlos demonstrated his storytelling prowess throughout the concert but especially in “I Lost My Love”, the tale of a maid in Bedlam and her sailor suiter, whose cruel parents – we are told – sent him to sea. He hastily returns to the shore to assure her of his love and the two are quickly married because, “I love my love because I know my love loves me!”

We are delighted with Daniel's feedback and dedicate the concert to David Sharp, a chorister and friend.

What a beautiful way to remember a former chorister and friend of the choir than with this exquisite program of music that was seriously fun and full of verve. From earth to heaven: Vale David Spark.

We are delighted to share Daniel's review and look forward to repeating this concert on Wednesday 25th at St. George's, Malvern at 7pm.
